    happy 1st anniversary, viv!!!

    we did it!
    they say that the first year of marriage is supposed to be the toughest… and though there were definitely tough times it’s also been the best year because now my life is no longer just mine but yours as well, and i would have it no other way!
    you continue to amaze and teach me what 1 cor. 13 personified is. you aspire me to be a better husband, friend and advocate.
    i am truly the most blessed guy b/c i get to journey this life (and the world) together with you!

    i love you and am looking to celebrating as many more anniversaries as the Lord allows (and not making you upset!).

    (to those who’ve been married for > a year, you’re our heroes! please feel free to pass along any marital wisdom, tips and advice. :) )

    (amazing photos courtesy of our dear friends at ghkim!)

        @lil: what do you mean “hope (you) can make it”?!?! of course you will! ;) your marriage is like a box of top pot doughnuts… each doughnut (like a year) gets better with the next! :D

    proposals. some right, others terribly wrong…

    big congrats to tim’s proposal to tiffany (TNT)!
    gotta hand it to him, he truly is the man.  if you look at the picture/how it all went down… you’ll see it’s quite the engagement proposal!
    (and kudos to ghkim for shooting/capturing the moment! imagine, being in the presence of 4 photographers!!!)

    but then to balance things out, you have this guy. when i read the story, i knew where it was heading. at first, i was laughing, then i felt bad when i saw the response of his ummm… non-understanding ‘potential’ fiancee?
    ==================================
    ….Hajji, of Hackney, east London, had concealed a $12,000 engagement ring inside a helium balloon. The idea was that she would pop the balloon as he popped the question.

    But as he left the shop, a gust of wind pulled the balloon from his hand and he watched the ring — and quite possibly the affections of his girlfriend — sailing away over the rooftops…

    DOH!
