i am still a little upset, shocked, confused, saddened and everything in between…
why you ask? let me explain what took place between me and a new security guard at my work place yesterday:
front desk security guard: ‘hey, you know who you look like?‘
me: ‘nope…‘
(hoping beyond hope he wouldn’t say a random asian public celebrity, especially a martial artist – considering i don’t know any martial arts! but sadly… knowing it would be a martial artist!!! :T).
to enter into this ‘blog’ world.
the whole web2.0 thing-a-ma-bob…
to write anything. what do i have to share? what nugget of wisdom or grand revelation (probably none)?
may be the reason why i’ve refused (up to this point) to have any friendster, xanga (sorry hun!), myspace, facebook, my spacebook’s facelink, and whatever other social networking site exists…
my soul often feels dry. i feel empty and longing for something deeper.
all i know is that i am a confused soul in desperate need of God’s grace…
may my lips continually sing of Your praise in all circumstances.
Jesus, lead me on… i pray, i will follow.
now that you’ve told the world how wonderful our Lord God is and how much you love Him… its time to tell the world how wonderful i am and how much you love me.

you do speak really good engrish. what a relief! i can never understand that little oriental guy over at the minit mart…i mean, if you live in america, you need to speak the language! so anyhow, where did you get such an americanized name like george? have i told you how much i LOVE asian food? p.f. chang’s is my favorite place.

George, let me add one to the list from the 80s – Long Duc Dong http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tktNZpUTMoQ. One of my best friends is named Dong and throughout high school he was known as the “Donger” (and of course he went on to be the valedictorian as well). I guess what is sad is that back then we accepted it, laughed along and thought this is just the way it is.
